Afro Samurai

The story of the anime takes place in a "futuristic and post-apocalyptic feudal Japan," where one who achieves the symbolic "Number One" bandanna will command the world as a "god." Someone becomes Number One killing the old Number One and taking his bandana. However, only the one with the "Number Two" bandana has the right to challenge it. As a child, Afro had his father (who was Number One) murdered right in front of him by a gunslinger, "Justice" (formerly Number Two) and this became Number One. Now Adult, Afro Samurai, is the current Number Two, and travels the world in search of revenge, by the current Number One that killed his father.
